An extra-thick base plate ensures strength on the course. Includes a latitude, longitude and UTM template for those critical details.
The revolutionary designed O.S.Sbase plate map compass from Brunton features an ergonomic grip for one-hand use. Simply sight the compass and align the two circles over circle for accurate bearings.
The unique base plate offers an attachment port for the included lanyard. The compass features a rotating azimuth ring with 1 degreee graduations that is declination adjustable. And it is easy to read the 1 degree graduations with the special magnifying optic incorporated over the compass bezel. Other features include a map magnifier, 1:24,000 (UTM) map scales, and inch scales. Also provided is a unique 0-180° / 180-360° protractor and position locator which allows for quick plotting of bearings on a map.
